Supercomputing India SCI2025 is the inaugural edition of the annual HPC conference, organised by leading HPC centres in India in collaboration with partners, and supported by National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) — a visionary initiative to empower India’s scientific and strategic communities by establishing a robust indigenous supercomputing ecosystem. With the theme HPC, AI, & Quantum Computing SCI2025 aims to foster a collaborative HPC ecosystem in India and Asia. It will serve as a global platform for connecting thought leaders from academia, industry, and the public sector. The upcoming SCI2025 conference promises a wealth of engaging activities and discussions.
Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier R&D institution under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, driving innovation in HPC, Information Technology and Electronics. C-DAC was established in 1988 with the mission to build indigenous supercomputing capabilities. This led to the creation of PARAM 8000, India’s first supercomputer. Since then, C-DAC has built multiple generations of supercomputers and continues to lead India’s National Supercomputing Mission. In addition, C-DAC has pioneered initiatives in Indian language computing, software technologies, applied electronics, and embedded systems.
